The Morgan County Health Department is seeking a qualified candidate to provide administrative support for health department programs. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties, including WIC registration, while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform WIC registration and other clerical duties in support of health department programs.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data and records.
  • Maintain detailed filing and recordkeeping systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and the public.
  • Conduct client interviews and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrate strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
  • Utilize computer systems and office software efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of management and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of general office or administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a medical or public health setting.
  • Bilingual skills.

Salary and Benefits:
