The Breast & Cervical Cancer Program is a health initiative that offers breast exams and cervical cancer screenings, follow-up exams and referral services to low-income women between the ages of 50-64 who either have no medical insurance, or are under-insured.*

*for example, not being able to cover out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.

Qualifying women may be eligible to get breast exams and Pap tests at no cost.  We will also provide referrals for no-cost mammograms for women ages 40 to 64 who do not have medical insurance or who have medical insurance that does not cover mammograms.

Income guidelines do apply, and women younger than 50 may qualify for the program as funding allows.

Program services are available at all Northeast Health District locations.  Contact your local health department for more information.
