Northeast Health District’s (NEHD) 10 county health departments will host the annual farmers markets for participants of the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program.

Each farmers market will offer fresh fruits and vegetables to WIC participants. Supplies are limited, and markets operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early. WIC participants, or their designated alternates, must bring their WIC ID card to take advantage of these markets. Active WIC participants 6 months of age and older can receive a one-time amount of $30 of fresh fruits and vegetables to use at the WIC Farmers Market. NEHD’s WIC nutrition program encourages WIC participants to come to one of our great markets.

WIC PARTICIPANTS: Please log into your account and complete the online farmers market education before attending a WIC Farmers Market.
