Looking for a flexible nursing opportunity where you can make a difference in the lives of children and families? The Northeast Health District is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Program in a part-time, hourly role.
Whether you’re an experienced nurse, a recent graduate, or returning to the workforce, we encourage you to apply. You’ll provide nursing care, case management, and care coordination for children and youth with special health care needs while working alongside a supportive, interdisciplinary team. No specialty experience is required—comprehensive orientation and program-specific training are provided.
Specialty experience in genetics, neurology, or pediatric care is not required. We provide comprehensive orientation and program-specific training.
Work Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week. Flexible schedule based on program needs.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and case management for pediatric clients.
- Conduct health assessments and monitor client progress.
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Participate in telemedicine and specialty clinics.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with CMS policies.
- Assist families in navigating services and available resources.
- Participate in outreach activities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Completion of a Public Health Nursing course within one year of hire.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification.
- No prior experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric nursing, public health nursing, or case management.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Travel throughout the Northeast Health District may be required.
